Diagnosis

Predominantly pale yellow, mesoscutum partly to predominantly golden-green; fore wing with dense setation. Very similar to alpigena and montigena, but differs in the shape of phallobase, in having occiput completely pale yellow, and in having scutellum predominantly pale yellow.

Distribution

Costa Rica.

Biology

From a gall midge (Diptera: Cecidomyiidae) leaf gall on Cecropia polyphlebia (Cecropiaceae).
